Hmm, 4-5 people huh? Anyway, maybe 10-12 cup coffee maker is what you are looking for. You can brew less or many cups depend on how many people in your office. Currently the coffee maker in my office is Cuisinart DCC-1200 12-Cup coffee maker even though we only have 3 people in my office. I don’t need it to make espresso, just good coffee. The only requirement is that it brews into a metal carafe (not a glass one) and I also need a timer so that I can set it to brew at a certain time. Please only recommend products that you have used yourself.

Zojirushi EC-BD15 Fresh Brew Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker Available on Amazon.com for $89. I’ve had two of them, the first one died due to outside influence. For the best coffee “brewer” get a vacuum pot. Example is the Bodum Santos. Makes excellent coffee.

I have both of those devices. I use the Zojirushi most of the time, but use the Bodum on weekends when I want to sit down and enjoy a good cup of coffee.
