I was able to purchase a 2 cup coffee pot for my mom, from a specialty catalog. You might want to try that. it is stainless steel and it makes very good coffee.

Does she like french presses? They’re very simple manual coffee makers to use – you basically just press down and the coffee brews. All you need to do is boil water, put the beans in, and press down!
